Location. Positioned on two acres of Waikiki Beach on Honolulu, Hawaii, the Sheraton Waikiki stands adjacent to the 100 boutique shops of the 293,000 square foot Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. Shopping at the International Market Place is one block from the hotel and Diamond Head is two miles away. Downtown Honolulu is less than five miles from this hotel.
Hotel Features. Numerous dining options are available at this Hawaii hotel, including The Ocean Terrace, serving steaks and seafood such as the Pacific Snapper with Sweet Sour Dip and Linguini Pasta with Marinara. This restaurant, overlooking the Waikiki oceanfront, also serves dinner buffets and an a la carte menu that changes daily. Dining on the 30th floor with skyline views and regional cuisine, The HanoHano Room boasts an extensive wine selection and live jazz in the evenings. The Cobalt Lounge rests adjacent to The HanoHano Room and offers Happy Hours, a live DJ and an appetizer menu. A Japanese restaurant, fast food parlor and cocktail bar are also on site. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel's public areas, including the business center. Recreational activities offered by the Sheraton Waikiki include on site shopping venues, beachfront activities and a children's program with meals and supervised activities. A Dolphin Connection program allows guests to interact directly with the dolphins from the local Sea Life Park. Other recreational amenities include a fitness center with cardiovascular equipment and two outdoor pools with poolside bar service.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms provide mountain or ocean views from private, furnished lanais. Flat screen televisions sit across from Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds. High speed Internet access is available in each room. Mini fridges are also included. br>
Expert Tip. Live entertainment abounds at the Sheraton Waikiki, with nightly dances at Espirit, the only beachfront club in Waikiki. Renowned island entertainers performed native music at my table and by poolside every evening as part of the Flavors of Island Music campaign that celebrates native history.
